Early Career Researcher (ECR) Mobility Program – 3rd call
MIRAI is pleased to announce the third call for applications for the Early Career Researcher Mobility Program, supporting long-term research stays between Japanese and Swedish MIRAI member universities. This program is part of the STINT-supported initiative to strengthen collaboration in research and education between Sweden and Japan.
About the Program
The ECR Mobility Program offers ECRs the opportunity to conduct a 5‑month continuous research stay at a MIRAI member university. Participants will join a research group at the host institution and pursue their individual research projects while building international networks and fostering new research ideas.
Who Can Apply
Eligible applicants are:
- Doctoral students, or researchers who obtained their PhD in 2021 or later.
- Employed or enrolled at a MIRAI member university in Japan or Sweden during the entire mobility period.
- Able to undertake an uninterrupted 5‑month stay at a MIRAI member university.
Application Deadline
30 April 2026
Mobility must be completed by late 2027.
